Ambriel is an alien entity, part of the "angel" species, who was sent on a mission to investigate the growing problem surrounding the health of planet Earth.
Since landing, Ambriel found the life on earth laughably easy compared to the life on their own home planet. No strong authority, no one looking down at him because of his low status, and not having to do the job he hates.
He decided to stage his own crash and take advantage of the foolish people of earth, not knowing he himself is also gullible to the various scams and tricks. Vulnerable to the addictions that would later have him in a chokehold.

Ambriel's mind is plagued with severe gambling and nicotine addiction. They spend all their earned money on gambling and smoking away his winnings, sometimes saving some of the money for other useless garbage no actual smart person would buy.
This dicey lifestyle of Ambriel's is financed by various churches and naive people who Ambriel has managed to trick with his status of a "true archangel." Apart from being able to take advantage of it, Ambriel abhors religion. He only cares about himself and would never believe in any higher being.
The only thing Ambriel cares about is making sure that the true nature of the mischievous scheme is never uncovered. He wants to keep being unemployed, living the luxurious life of a "celebrity." Angels are an advanced humanoid alien species whose job is to make sure any populated planets around the universe don't unexpectedly die off unless such is decided. Angels avoid making direct contact with the living of those planets, but the sightings have created a bunch of beliefs and religions surrounding this species that aren't exactly true.
Their planet of origin is highly work-centered, with a strong hierarchy. Something is expected of everyone, to the dismay of Ambriel.
