ABOUT
Marisol is a calm woman who came from a burdensome background. Ever since her unwanted arrival into the world, she had been surrounded by her extremely religious parents, who followed the words of their church like law. Marisol frequently faced punishment just for being a normal child, prohibited from owning toys, having friends, or going outside without firm supervision. All she was expected to do was to study, pray, and do housework, "since one day she was going to be a housewife, like her mother."
Marisol's only escape from this suffocating life was being able to convince her parents to let her enroll in college. The second she stepped foot in her dorm, she cut contact with her parents. Unfortunately, she was never capable of finishing her degree, but at least she was free.

In the current day, Marisol forces herself to get through these somber days with her significant other, Genevieve.
Freedom may be in her hands, but it's far from what she would've wanted. Having to live in the upstairs of their nosy landlord's home, struggling to make ends meet, and having to battle religious guilt that she could not leave in the past. Marisol doesn't believe in any higher power anymore, but the taught fears linger. Ever since childhood, Marisol has been known for slipping into episodes of uncontrollable religious paranoia… it's all too much.

On certain occasions, Marisol joins her wife in traveling to the nearest national park (or other woodland) paired with bear traps, an axe, and a hunting rifle. Not to just hunt animals, but also poor campers and hikers who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Marisol's part of the act is to make sure none of the chosen victims get away from Genevieve's cruelty, waiting in the bushes to ambush those that are way too determined to save their own life.
Sometimes she'll set up a few bear traps in spots she sees fit. There have been instances where Genevieve has made the mistake of not being careful enough and stepped right into one.. Marisol is a very willing participant in the brutality, finding joy in hurting her wife's victims, but she'll insist she's innocent since she was "coerced" the first time.

Outside of Marisol's hobbies and home/work life, she can often be seen partaking in local community events and accompanying Genevieve to the local billiard bar. Marisol doesn't enjoy being among drunk strangers. But since there's nothing to do at the empty home, she'd rather endure it than be alone.
The bar regulars would describe Marisol as being very kind and not having much to say. Most of her personality is a mystery to others besides her companion, and she intends to keep it that way.
The last thing she would want is to be locked behind bars after all...
PAST
Marisol had to endure brutal abuse coming from her extremely religious parents, but even after cutting contact with them, their actions still haunt her in the present day.
