What is this? Bicycle boy is a post-apocalyptic webcomic created by Jackarais.
the comic is still ongoing and has been actively updated since 2013. (thats over 10 years!). its currently getting weekly pages.

The plot follows a very miserable cyborg man who wakes up in the middle of the desert surrounded by corpses. with his memory and limbs gone, he goes to seek for answers. (only for things to get more miserable for him 💔 poor thing.)

I recommend giving this comic a read, the characters and worldbuilding are wonderful! the best part is that the comic keeps getting better and better every page!

the main character of this comic! this is the miserable cyborg guy i mentioned on the box above.. he's got such a pathetic wet cat vibes and i love him for that. im so excited to learn more of his past :)!!

He's the secondary main character(??what do you call it??) in the comic!! he deserves all the nice things in the world, he's so kind :(!! his past makes my heart shatter in million pieces..

SHE'S SO AWESOMESAUCE!!! genuinely such a fun character. i used to not have strong opinions abt her but on my rereads ive started to like her sooo much. I hope to see more of her soon

I LOVE HERRR!!!!!!! one of my most favorites!! genuinely THE character ever. just her mere presence on a page makes me so happy.. shes so crazy and silly, love her tattoos too. ^_^

rambling... Alright! time to talk about my feelings n opinions, how i found bicycle boy, etc!! ^_^ !!

If it wasn't obvious, this comic means SO MUCH to me. its my #1 favorite and one of my main interests right now!!!
Im so invested in it, every read just makes the comic better for me. i've got 3 rereads under my belt already!
everything about this comic has become such a comfort,, like wow.. the art, the story, the characters,, AM I IN HEAVEN?!

ah yes, lets talk about the heaven discovery now. i found the comic through flight rising, a dragon breeding/trading game, on the 22nd day of december 2022..
The website wanted me to disable my adblocker and i was like "okay, sure, the website needs the money". i was expecting boring finnish ads that doxx my location, but instead there was WEBCOMIC ADS???
i was so amused by the fact that fun ads exists, like?!?!? holy shit i was so used to internet being so boring?? now you're telling me there's webcomic ads??? wow.. ok so i was clicking the ads randomly, checking out various webcomics personal sites, looking and poking around.
i stopped for a while to do other stuff on the flight rising website until another webcomic ad caught my eye,,
it was bicycle boy. (wow it was like fate). i clicked the ad, looked around the webpages the comic website had to offer, and on the cast page Bridget caught my eye. Im a big fan of gas masks so i went crazy and thought "well i guess i could look at the comic itself, its not like i couldn't just click off if i get bored" ...
i didn't end up clicking off, i was reading that comic multiple hours straight like girl i was hooked..
i ended up re-reading the webcomic again few days after. i loved it so much.
i hope to own the physical first volume someday, i missed out on the kickstarter so i truly hope there will be a second opportunity some day.

also, fun fact! the reason why this page has macabre plaza as the background music is because i listened to macabre plaza on loop while reading the comic for the first time, and now i have to listen to macabre plaza everytime i read the comic bc my brain associates the music with it :D
